Added

  • Added per-user web and offline bootstrapper installers with adaptive install, update, repair, and uninstall flows.

Changed

  • Extended release and dry-run workflows to build and verify both setup variants alongside the existing MSIX, App Installer feed, certificate, and dependency assets.
  • Made the web setup embed the pinned signing certificate and validate the selected x64 package identity before installation.

Removed

  • Removed the unmaintained Stream Deck integration and its release artifact. The command-line client remains available for external automation.

Recommended installation: Download and run AudioPlaybackConnector2-WebSetup.exe.

The versioned AudioPlaybackConnector2-Setup-0.8.1.exe contains the complete package for offline installation. Both setup variants install per-user without administrator rights. Windows SmartScreen may warn because the setup executable is not yet code-signed.

The .appinstaller, .msix, certificate, and dependency assets remain available for manual installation and the existing App Installer update feed.

Direct MSIX sideloading remains available, but installing through the .appinstaller file enables Windows App Installer update checks.

Releases are signed with a self-signed certificate. A free open-source code-signing certificate has been requested but approval may take some time.
