v0.1.0 — testing phase · highly transmissible

testing phase · highly transmissible

The real expansion is Shift, Tone, Decode. Around the shack this build also answers to Sending Transmittal Disease. It is still in the contagious stage: it keys on the bench, it has not finished making the rounds, and the recommended treatment is another shot of bourbon while the modes get proved on the air.

STD: Help keep the infections spreading and buy us a shot of bourbon.

This installer

STD-Setup-0.1.0.exe is the Windows 64-bit Inno Setup installer. There is no zip on this release. If STD is already installed, this setup replaces that copy in the same folder. You do not uninstall first.

The purple capsule is the Setup icon, the program icon, the Start Menu shortcut, and the desktop shortcut.

Connect sends AUDIO_START:0. The text command START is never sent. CW stays in Lyra.

The installer does not contain a station callsign, locator, TCI host, TCI port, or saved layouts. Those stay in your Windows profile.

What keys

FT8, FT4, FT2, Feld Hell, RTTY, BPSK, QPSK (not 8PSK), Olivia, Contestia, MFSK including 64L and 128L, DominoEX including Micro, Thor including 25x4, 50x1, 50x2, and 100 (not Thor Micro), MT63, JS8 Normal, and WSPR-2. WEFAX-576 receives only.

WSPR and JS8

WSPR opens the beacon pane. Band buttons QSY the TCI radio to the WSPR dials. Tx power, Tx %, and Band Hopping are on that pane. There is no macro bar. JS8 keeps the transmit box and adds band buttons for the JS8Call-improved calling dials. There is no second callsign or locator field.

PSK Reporter

Options → PSK Reporter map opens the map for the callsign already saved under Options → User. Options → Network Configuration can upload a spot a few seconds after an FT8-family, JS8, or WSPR decode. Upload is off until Enable is checked. There is no second callsign or locator field.

Updates

Help → Check for Updates looks at this Releases page the same way Lyra does: a dialog the first time a newer version appears, then a toolbar indicator. Skip this version silences that one.

Pre-release. Highly transmissible. Practice safe radio.
