PathMan v1.0.0-beta.1 is the first public beta release, providing a unified Windows application for managing environment variables, PATH entries, command aliases, and environment variable versions.

  • Environment Variables: Manage user and system environment variables through a Fluent UI.
  • PATH Management: Organize, clean up, deduplicate, and diagnose PATH entries.
  • Change Monitoring: Detect external environment changes and optionally monitor them in the background.
  • Command Aliases: Create and manage command aliases for applications and files.
  • Version Management: Register and switch environment variable versions through the GUI or CLI.
  • Updates: Check for new releases, verify downloaded installers, and install updates.

Six installer variants are available for Windows x86, x64, and ARM64:

  • Framework-dependent: Requires .NET 10 Desktop Runtime.
  • Self-contained: Includes the required .NET runtime.

This is a beta release. Bugs and compatibility issues may still exist. Feedback and bug reports are welcome through GitHub Issues.
