What's Changed

  • Skills are self-contained: each one works when copied alone, and follows .claude/rules/ when the project has them
  • Seven analysis and review skills carry the same short evidence baseline (evidence labels, no PDF reads, read-only KiCad files)
  • README groups skills by design stage: Requirements and planning, Design and parts, Schematic, PCB, Libraries, Bring-up and debug, Docs and Git
  • Descriptions no longer name other skills; mentions of other skills are optional companions with a fallback
  • .claude/settings.json allows Edit and Write without a prompt; edits to KiCad schematic, PCB, symbol, footprint, 3D model and library/ files still ask

Upgrading from v2.0.x

  • Skill names, folders and commands are unchanged
  • Copy the updated .claude/skills/ folders; .claude/rules/ and hooks are unchanged
  • Review the settings.json permission change before copying it into a project

Verification

  • Synthetic regression: schematic 21/21, PCB 31/31 passed
  • NOT_VERIFIED: golden suites not re-run (scripts unchanged)
  • NOT_VERIFIED: a skill copied alone into a project without .claude/rules/ has not been run
