• .claude/rules/pdf.md: one PDF rule. Project report PDFs may be read and generated; schematic, PCB and datasheet PDFs are not read directly. NotebookLM is the default datasheet source, and Claude asks the human when it has a problem.
• progress-update preflight script (scripts/progress_preflight.py) that prints one JSON of commits, changed files, sheet parts, library and doc checks.
• CLAUDE.md: Git, external-model provider, workflow and compact sections.

• NotebookLM procedure moved to the path-scoped .claude/rules/notebooklm.md.
• settings.json and protect.json: symbol, footprint, library/, STEP and .kicad_pro edits run without a prompt; schematic and PCB edits still ask. git push and gh pr create run without a prompt; git merge asks instead of being blocked. PDF reads ask; schematic and manufacturing output PDFs are denied.

Tests

• Schematic synthetic 21/21 and PCB synthetic 31/31 passed (Python 3.14.7, Windows). CI passed on PR #19.
• Golden tests were not re-run.
