OpenCull v0.5.0
What's new in 0.5.0
- Review a card before copying it. Pick Cull first when you copy from a
card: look through the photos where they are, choose the ones you want, and
copy only those. Finish review at the top does the copying, then opens
the copies so you can ship them. Prefer to copy everything first? Choose
Copy first. - Shoots from several cards. Select photos in a folder and press Add to
shoot; do the same on the next card and review them together. Nothing is
selected for you. - Pick up where you left off. Quit mid-review and OpenCull offers to resume
the session next time. - Group by what the picture looks like. An optional setting compares whole
frames, so photos without faces can be grouped too. Off until you download
its model. - Your workspace, your way. Choose which panels show, where they sit and
how photos are scaled, and try the new Wisp look in Settings. - Videos. Clips from your camera play in the app, including 10-bit log
footage that the system player handles, and show a first-frame picture in
the grid, filmstrip and home page. Space plays and pauses. Importing from a
card brings in the clips themselves, not the camera's proxy copies. - Crop from anywhere on the edge. Drag any part of the crop frame's edge,
not only the small tab. - Easier on small screens and in light mode. The interface scale never
goes larger than the window can hold, the toolbar wraps cleanly, and light
mode has readable tabs and darker text. - Better with long folder paths, and the buttons line up properly.
See the README for what works, what does not yet, and how to open the app the first time.
