- Renaming a document no longer overwrites a different file created concurrently at the destination.
- CRLF edits keep line numbers consistent, and deferred external changes are not recorded as applied before reaching the editor.

- The sidebar lists documents by modification date, newest first.
Fixed
- Edits made to the same document from another app or device are no longer lost: independent changes merge, and overlapping changes keep both versions side by side instead of overwriting one.
- Saves to the same document are applied in order, so a slower earlier save can no longer replace newer text.
- File rows refresh after a document is moved or renamed outside NeatEditor.
- The floating character count no longer clips the bottom of the editor, and the last lines keep their normal bottom padding.

- 同一文档的多次保存按顺序落盘，较慢的旧保存不会再覆盖较新的内容。
- 文档在 NeatEditor 之外被移动或改名后，文件列表会及时刷新。
- 浮动字数统计不再遮住编辑区底部，最后几行恢复正常的底部留白。

- Large files (over 2 MB) load through memory mapping; smaller files keep the faster direct read.
- Update checks now start after the first window appears instead of during launch.

- Rejoin the lower-left and lower-right curves of the selected tab with the line under the tab bar. In 1.0.19 the titlebar clipped the curves just above the line, so every selected tab's corners looked broken.
- Remove the band-colored strip that 1.0.19 added before the first tab. The first tab's curve now ends exactly at the sidebar edge.
