Neotask v0.2.55
- A new way of running agent work is switched on. Runs wait their turn instead of colliding, and a run that needs your answer pauses until you give it.
- Approvals and questions from your agents wait for you for hours, and you can answer them from the desktop, the Dashboard or your phone.
- Clicking a button on an approval card in Slack or Discord works when the agent runs on a cloud computer.
- Connecting Google Chat and pairing your own account work, and your Google Chat messages get answered.
- The Dashboard's Channels page shows a linked desktop's channels and accounts again.
- After an agent reads outside content such as an email or a web page, it asks you before it sends a message or changes something in one of your connected apps.
- A spending limit of $0 now also stops agents from answering in your connected chat channels.
- The desktop no longer re-checks its access in bursts every few minutes, which could make Neotask Cloud pages briefly show as unavailable.
- An approval you are asked for while Neotask restarts still reaches you, and your answer still counts.
- Codex coding helpers start on cloud computers again.
- Cal.com, monday.com, Apollo.io and Commerce Layer connect and stay connected.
- A WhatsApp account you moved to a new desktop reconnects without scanning a new code.
- You can turn Safe Mode off for a single agent again, from the Agents list.
- The License screen offers Upgrade Plan, so you can change your plan from Settings.
- You can cancel a company's Google or Microsoft connection that is still in progress.
- Switching the model of a conversation that runs its own model works, and the picker shows that model.
- A scheduled run you stop shows as Cancelled, not Failed, and its fee is refunded.
- On Linux, the Neotask service keeps running after you quit the app.

Neotask v0.2.52
Versions 0.2.50 and 0.2.51 were not released. 0.2.52 includes everything below.
- Neotask is now translated into 20 languages besides English.
- Approvals: Semi-Supervised uses Auto review by default. It runs a riskier action when it clearly matches what you asked for and asks you otherwise. Cards say who decided.
- Payments, refunds, payroll, transfers and other money-moving actions from connected apps ask a person even in Fully Autonomous. Auto review and always-allow rules never approve them.
- Learned contacts: after you approve several sends in a row to the same contact, later sends to it run without asking until you deny one or revoke it.
- Approval cards show the full command with only credentials masked and let you change a tool's editable inputs before approving, on the desktop or your phone.
- A Never on a Google app such as Gmail, Calendar or Drive now also blocks the agent's command-line and email tools for that app, and Always ask asks there too.
- Admins can limit model choices with Approved models in Settings under Models.
- Code page: a Diff page with line comments for the agent, a PR review page that commits only the files you tick, and AI review on the diff lines.
- Messages sent while a coding agent works are queued or steer its turn. Conversations get titles automatically. A coding conversation can work across several repositories, including a local Git folder.
- On the Code page, Full access runs every command, including ones that use secrets or spend money, and asks only before destructive ones such as force pushes or deleting your home folder.
- In Ask and Auto, reading a secret file such as .env always asks, also in Claude Code and through other letter case, searches, Git history and tools such as sed or awk.
- In Ask and Auto, reading or searching outside the project folder asks first.
- Switching a coding conversation between Ask, Auto and Full access applies to the running agent at once. Stop withdraws its waiting approval cards, so a late Allow runs nothing.
- Codex in Full access no longer edits files another agent has reserved, and its guard works on Windows.
- Long agent runs, conversation compaction and scheduled jobs are no longer cut off by built-in time limits.
- Claude Code defaults to Opus 5.5, and the model you pick stays selected after a restart.
- Cloud computers can use your own Claude Code or Codex sign-in, with no browser on the computer.
- A cloud computer's Code tab has a live terminal, and Open preview opens its dev server in your browser.
- Viewing a paused cloud computer never starts or bills it, and its runtime restarts in place.
- Agents can install system software. With Safe Mode on, you approve each install.
- A message sent while a cloud computer starts is kept even if you close the app. Cloud chats reconnect by themselves, and Stop works on them.
- If the local engine stops, cloud computers, chats and companies stay usable, with a Restart local engine button.
- The company task fee and the Work All Day hourly price come from Neotask, and a zero fee is not shown. When hosted credits run out, you can still switch to a free or local model.
- Agents can be deleted, which also removes their automations. Edit agent can change the model. Removing an automation no longer needs a paid plan.
- Pausing a company holds its in-flight runs until it resumes.
- Each Neotask install is its own device, and a signed-in desktop appears in your computers with access off.
- Neotask Mail: agents on different computers can't reserve the same files at once and can message each other.
- Fixes: an approval answer the app doesn't recognize no longer counts as an approval. A company opened on a second computer applies its approval settings at once. Approving an app action after a long wait no longer times out. An agent model with a missing sign-in is refused instead of switched.
- Fixes: drafts survive Enter in an input method editor. Scrolling back through a long conversation no longer goes blank. A dropped idle connection reconnects without signing in again. Restart reopens Neotask on Linux.

Neotask v0.2.49
- Versions 0.2.46, 0.2.47 and 0.2.48 were not released. 0.2.49 includes everything below.
- Cloud computers: run your agents and companies on a Neotask cloud computer. Buy one from the desktop in one screen, watch its setup progress, and it reconnects by itself. A company placed on a cloud computer runs its work there.
- Coding is open on every plan, including Free.
- Choose Ask, Auto or Full access approvals on the Code page and in Coding settings. Cloud computers get the Code workbench, and a coding thread run on another computer now loads its messages.
- A cloud computer's Code tab has the same approval controls: choose Ask, Auto or Full access for a conversation or its project, and confirm before Full access is turned on.
- Computer use works on macOS, Windows and Linux (X11).
- Long conversations keep their full history with paged scroll-back.
- Approval cards, toasts and desktop notifications name the connector and action, with Approve and Deny on the notification.
- The app waits on the startup screen until its gateway is ready and keeps reconnecting.
- Updates show their change notes before you install.
- Add credits opens a checkout even when no card is saved. Subscription usage is shown at list price and is never charged.
- Knowledge base search works in the installed app, and its errors say what went wrong.
- Fixes: signing in no longer uses up a one-time code when the system keychain is unavailable. Card setup and credit top-ups no longer interfere with each other. Cancelling company onboarding closes it at once.
- Company setup in the desktop app now runs on the same Neotask service as cloud computers, so every company is set up the same way. Website analysis, Generate Profile, the company profile and the plan preview work as before.
- When a company admin sets an app or an action to Never, the desktop now keeps that app's connected tools blocked. A Never on a Google app such as Gmail, Calendar or Drive doesn't block it yet. Earlier versions could treat it as Ask or let it run.
- In Semi-Supervised, low- and medium-risk actions run without asking unless the company's approval settings say Ask for that level. High and critical actions ask unless the company's approval settings auto-approve them.
- Low-risk, read-only actions, such as web searches, reading files and taking screenshots, run without asking by default in every mode. In Fully Supervised and Semi-Supervised, a company admin can set them to Ask.
