  • Added backup support for ONTAP-mode volumes: gcnv_backup_create now accepts ontapStoragePool, ontapVolumeUuid and the optional ontapSnapshotUuid.
  • gcnv_backup_get and gcnv_backup_list now return ontapSource for ONTAP-mode backups.
  • Added gcnv_storage_pool_backup_config_list to view the backup vault, policies and schedule for each ONTAP volume in a pool.
  • Added gcnv_storage_pool_backup_config_update to set the backup vault and policies and to turn scheduled backups on or off for an ONTAP volume.
  • Added gcnv_storage_pool_restore_volume to restore a backup into an existing ONTAP volume, either in full or for selected files.
  • Fixed gcnv_operation_get, gcnv_operation_list and gcnv_operation_cancel returning raw bytes; they now show the target, action and times.
  • Upgraded @google-cloud/netapp to 0.21.0.
  • Breaking: the minimum Node.js version is now 22.
  • Applied security fixes for @grpc/grpc-js, @modelcontextprotocol/sdk, proxy-addr, qs and other dependencies.
