nexilume 0.51.1
nexilume 0.51.1
This patch updates the cooperative Queue/Steer example and its regression coverage.
- Upload
examples/router_follow_up_agent.pyas a hosted Python Agent with entrypointagent, or run it through an enrolled Router. - Choose 1–120 steps (30 by default), within your Cloud plan's Run duration.
- Inspect the final
appliedlist for the exact instruction IDs and text acknowledged by the Agent. - Pending instruction editing and withdrawal require an updated Nexus Cloud. Once an instruction has been received, its effects cannot be recalled or changed retroactively.
python -m pip install --upgrade nexilume==0.51.1For Computer and Browser capabilities:
python -m pip install --upgrade "nexilume[computer,browser]==0.51.1"Imports remain nexus_agent; CLI names and pairing remain unchanged. The example
and its tests are included in the source distribution, not installed as runtime
modules in the wheel. This release does not update your Cloud server automatically.

Highlights
- Caller-owned MCP Provider authorization through
ProviderCredentials.
Form/URL elicitation keeps API keys out of chat and tool arguments. - Background jobs and live task events for progress, cancellation and recovery.
- Atrex MCP example with authorization and event contract regression coverage.
These features require a compatible Nexus Cloud deployment. Python imports
remain nexus_agent; CLI names and existing Computer pairings are unchanged.
Install
python -m pip install --upgrade nexilume==0.51.0For MCP integrations:
python -m pip install --upgrade "nexilume[fastmcp]==0.51.0"For Computer Runtime:
python -m pip install --upgrade "nexilume[computer,browser]==0.51.0"
nexus-computer restartUse the environment that runs your service. Upgrading the package does not
restart deployed Agents or Computer services automatically.
Release assets are the exact PyPI distributions, with SHA-256 checksums.
nexilume 0.50.0
nexilume 0.50.0
- OpenROAD MCP bridge with discovered tool schemas, Yosys/EDA workflows, asynchronous jobs, progress and verified artifact downloads.
- Preserve native MCP content and error semantics through hosted/FastMCP and edge SSE adapters.
- Opt-in client trajectory collection through
nexus_agent.trainingfor private Agent training Data Assets. No automatic conversation upload.
python -m pip install --upgrade "nexilume==0.50.0"
# For MCP Agents:
python -m pip install --upgrade "nexilume[fastmcp]==0.50.0"Imports remain nexus_agent; CLI names and existing Computer pairings are unchanged. Existing Windows address services use a separate protected SDK copy; follow README_GUIDE.md when updating that service.
Validation: all 26 cross-platform CI jobs passed, including Python 3.9 core, Windows/Linux/macOS Python 3.12/3.14 full suites, optional extras, builds and archive checks. The official OIDC PyPI workflow succeeded. These attached files are downloaded from PyPI, verified against its SHA-256 metadata and the exact release source. A fresh official-index installation passed core/training imports and the Computer CLI help check.
OpenROAD requires its EDA backend and a configured Router. Training upload requires compatible Cloud endpoints and explicit permission for the trajectory data.

nexilume 0.49.1
nexilume 0.49.1
- Automatically recover from OS-confirmed IPv6 DAD conflicts on Windows and Linux: clean up only the failed address, try at most three candidates, and temporarily avoid known conflicts.
- Use exact Windows IP Helper address state instead of localized command output; distinguish conflicts, timeouts, binding errors and cleanup failures.
- Add
nexus-agent doctor, repair --yesandrun --repairfor explicit, bounded MCP dependency recovery before execution. Agent execution is never automatically replayed. - Avoid the incompatible Python 3.10 / griffelib 2.3.1 dependency combination.
Install from PyPI:
python -m pip install --upgrade "nexilume==0.49.1"Windows MCP Agents:
python -m pip install --upgrade "nexilume[windows,fastmcp]==0.49.1"Existing Windows address services run a separate, protected SDK copy. After upgrading, release active Agent leases and follow the service update instructions. Restarting the old service alone does not copy the fix. No DAD, firewall, interface or prefix settings are changed by conflict recovery.
The distribution name remains nexilume; imports remain nexus_agent.
Validation: 455 local SDK tests passed, 18 environment-dependent tests skipped,
and 58 subtests passed. The Linux PyPI publishing workflow passed. Both uploaded
artifacts were checked against the release tag and their official PyPI SHA-256
digests, followed by a fresh official-index installation and CLI smoke tests.
Attached artifacts are the exact PyPI distributions, not local rebuilds.
A CI assertion compared a Windows short temporary path or a macOS symlink path
with its resolved spelling. This test-only issue is corrected on main; all 26
cross-platform CI jobs now pass, including Windows, Linux and macOS. The released
runtime code and immutable v0.49.1 tag are unchanged.

nexilume 0.49.0
- Native Streamable HTTP MCP for public IPv6 Agents, with SDK capability routing and Run Context integration.
- Mobile Home, Recents and long-press actions, including asynchronous calls and bounded validation.
- The distribution name remains
nexilume, the Python import remainsnexus_agent, and Computer CLI entry points are unchanged.
Install from PyPI:
pip install -U nexilume==0.49.0Computer and browser extras:
pip install -U "nexilume[computer,browser]==0.49.0"Mobile live video is provided by compatible Cloud/Web and Nexus Mobile 0.1.2-beta.1 or newer; SDK action APIs do not stream video frames. Cross-NAT media may require TURN. Android screen-sharing consent and Run authorization still apply.
Validation: 410 local SDK tests passed, 17 environment-dependent tests skipped; the tagged Linux publishing workflow passed. Public PyPI wheel and sdist hashes and contents were verified against the release tag, followed by an isolated official-index install and CLI smoke check. Attached artifacts are the exact distributions published to PyPI, not a separate local rebuild.

nexilume 0.48.0
nexilume 0.48.0
Published on PyPI using the repository's OIDC Trusted Publisher. These release
assets are the exact files downloaded from PyPI, with SHA-256 verified.
Changes
- Binary Attached Computer Workspace APIs:
read_bytes,write_bytes,
upload, download, plus asynchronous counterparts. - Bounded HTTPS chunks, integrity verification, atomic replacement and
Workspace/scope validation. Interrupted transfers preserve existing files. - Unicode Workspace/Browser metadata, bounded Workspace request timeouts and
sanitized diagnostic codes. - Stable UUIDs for Mobile journaled commands.
Binary transfers require matching Cloud and Computer Runtime support for
workspace.binary.v1; package installation alone does not update Cloud.
Existing pairing state is preserved. Restart Computer Runtime after upgrading.
python -m pip install --upgrade "nexilume[computer,browser]==0.48.0"
nexus-computer restartPackage/import/CLI names remain nexilume, nexus_agent, and nexus-computer.
The bundled license is Apache License 2.0 (modified), with additional terms;
it is not the unmodified Apache-2.0 license. Previous artifacts are unchanged.
nexilume 0.47.1 — Dependency compatibility fixes
nexilume 0.47.1
Available on PyPI, published through GitHub Actions Trusted Publishing. Earlier releases are unchanged.
Dependency compatibility and installation reliability fixes for the Nexus Python Agent SDK.
- Computer Tool Setup now installs
tomlion Python 3.9/3.10 and uses it whentomllibis unavailable. The core stays dependency-free. - MCP and A2A extras explicitly declare the libraries they import.
- The
fastmcp-tasksextra now uses the officialfastmcp[tasks]dependency. - Browser requires Python 3.10+ and Playwright 1.63+. Core and Computer Runtime retain Python 3.9 support.
- Added independent-extra, minimum-version and installed-wheel CI checks, including real Browser regressions.
Install
python -m pip install --upgrade "nexilume[computer,browser]==0.47.1"For hosted MCP Agents, select nexilume[fastmcp]==0.47.1; use nexilume==0.47.1 for the dependency-free core. Python imports remain nexus_agent; CLI names remain unchanged. Browser binaries and OS libraries are separate prerequisites.
Restart an existing Computer Runtime after upgrading; pairing configuration is preserved. This release does not change the Cloud or OpenWrt protocol.
Verification
- Release-source suite on Windows: 379 passed, 11 environment-dependent skips, 18 subtests passed; includes real Browser tests.
- Final wheel: Python 3.9 core and Computer checks, MCP Tasks check and dependency consistency passed.
- Wheel and sdist: metadata, source-content, license and credential-pattern verification passed.
- All 26 cross-platform CI jobs passed: https://github.com/Nexilume-AI/nexus-agent-sdk-python-backup-20261003/actions/runs/36870987915. These checks do not substitute for real macOS device acceptance.
License remains Nexus Community License 1.0. Earlier releases are unchanged.
v0.46.5 — Interactive macOS and Linux terminals
Computer Runtime terminals on macOS and Linux now use a real POSIX pseudo-terminal (PTY) and an interactive shell. This fixes the terminal remaining at [connected] without a prompt.
- macOS automatic shell selection uses zsh; Linux keeps bash with sh fallback.
- Prompts, input echo, line editing and Ctrl+C work through the controlling terminal.
- Initial dimensions and resize requests are applied on RPC and live WebSocket paths.
- Final streamed output is drained and terminal resources are released on exit.
- Windows keeps its existing PowerShell transport. Installation, pairing and device identities are unchanged.
Upgrade
Download the wheel below and activate the same Python environment used by Computer Runtime:
python -m pip install --upgrade "./nexus_openwrt_agent_sdk-0.46.5-py3-none-any.whl[computer,browser]"
nexus-computer restart
nexus-computer statusClose the old terminal in Cloud and open a new session. Existing pairings remain valid. The Cloud server must preserve Runtime shell selection (auto), as documented in the 0.46.4 upgrade.
Distribution is through these GitHub Release assets; this package is not published to PyPI.
Validation
All seven SDK CI jobs passed at commit a1c7083: Python 3.12/3.14 on macOS, Linux and Windows, plus core installation on Python 3.9. Native macOS runs include real PTY prompt, zsh line-editing, Ctrl+C, resize, stream-output and cleanup acceptance. Wheel/sdist metadata and source-content verification passed. User-specific shell startup files and launchd configurations are outside this acceptance.
v0.46.4 — macOS default zsh
Computer Runtime now selects zsh by default on macOS when the requested shell is auto. Explicit bash/sh choices, Linux and Windows behavior are preserved.
Update both Cloud and Runtime. Cloud must include the accompanying fix that forwards auto to Runtime. Updating only the SDK is insufficient if an older Cloud server already forces sh.
Download the wheel, activate the same Python environment used by Runtime, and run:
python -m pip install --upgrade "./nexus_openwrt_agent_sdk-0.46.4-py3-none-any.whl[computer,browser]"
nexus-computer restart
nexus-computer statusClose any existing terminal session and open a new one. Existing pairings and device keys are retained. This remains a pipe-based terminal, not a PTY.
Also includes the README and runnable example for two distributed Agents calling each other through OpenWrt. The example's syntax and command entrypoint have been checked; no new physical two-router acceptance run is claimed.
Packages are published through GitHub Releases, not PyPI.
Cloud changes: Community 69bb0a2, Enterprise commit c23299d.
Validation: all seven SDK CI jobs passed, including Python 3.12/3.14 on macOS, Linux and Windows and the Python 3.9 core installation. The macOS suites include actual default-zsh execution with browser Enter input. Four Cloud shell-routing tests passed for both source trees, covering live-stream and RPC dispatch. Wheel/sdist metadata and source-content verification passed.
v0.46.3 — Computer Runtime compatibility fixes
Computer Runtime compatibility fixes with the existing install-then-pair workflow preserved.
- Include
python-socks[asyncio]in the Computer extra for WebSocket proxy support. - Identify HTTP/WebSocket requests with
Nexus-Computer/0.46.3. - Fix browser Enter input on macOS/Linux pipe-based terminals; retain Windows behavior.
- Include the Linux IPv6 service group fix from the previous source revision.
- Add macOS CI and regression coverage.
Download the wheel, activate the same environment used by Runtime, then run:
python -m pip install --upgrade "./nexus_openwrt_agent_sdk-0.46.3-py3-none-any.whl[computer,browser]"
nexus-computer restart
nexus-computer statusKeep existing configuration and device keys; no re-pairing is required. New computers still install Runtime before pairing. Packages are distributed here on GitHub, not PyPI.
Runtime fixes adapted from Nexus Cloud Community PR #5. This release does not include its generated installer or installed-package monkeypatches. POSIX terminals still use pipes rather than a PTY. Local Linux and Windows verification does not establish real macOS launchd or system-proxy acceptance.
Validation: all seven CI jobs passed, including Python 3.12/3.14 on macOS, Linux and Windows plus the Python 3.9 core installation. Fresh Linux wheel installation, dependency checks and command entrypoint verification also passed.
