Stride v1.0.12 — Daybreak

Ideas from the Stride community on Telegram: choose when your day starts,
lifetime stats, auto-pause, glass widgets and a new Retro skin.

Stride is on Google Play

If you bought Premium on Gumroad or Polar, you don't pay again. Swap your
licence key for a free Google Play code at
https://stride-move.narzo9990.workers.dev.

The Play version can't install over this one, so the move takes a minute:

  1. Get your Play code on the website. Each key can be swapped once, and your
key keeps working in this version.
  2. Back up: Settings → Export backup.
  3. Uninstall this version, then install Stride from Google Play:
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vythera.stride
  4. Restore: Settings → Import backup. Redeem your code and Premium unlocks
by itself, or tap Restore purchase.

The Home banner, Settings → Premium → Move to Google Play and the reminder
every 4 days (switch it off on the notification or under Settings → Premium →
Play Store reminders) all walk you through it.

New

  • Choose when your day starts. Settings → Goals → Day starts at: midnight
or any hour up to 6 am, so a late night out no longer counts towards
    tomorrow or breaks your streak.
  • Lifetime stats on Awards: every step, kilometre and active day since your
first step, plus four new milestone badges.
  • Personal best on Home, and a "New record!" notification when today
    beats it.
  • Auto-pause. The walk clock stops after about 12 seconds standing still
and starts again when you move off.
  • Walks and runs: share or save one as a picture, export it as GPX for
Strava or Komoot, or save it to Health Connect with its route.
  • Your own quotes for the Home card and the goal notifications.
  • What's new sheet after each update.
  • Premium: month recap picture, spoken updates every kilometre or mile, and
glass widgets that sit on your wallpaper like liquid glass.

Changed

  • Retro is now the Pocket walk club: a pocket step-counter toy on Home,
with its own cream, ink, teal and coral colours.
  • Launch animation: your app icon drops in and a liquid ripple spreads
    across the app.
  • Glass nav bar switch for Classic and Verdant, for a plain solid bar.
  • Simpler step settings, snappier tab switching, and the Expressive loader for
    pull to refresh.
  • Tapping the Premium status in Settings goes straight to buying.
  • Support links now go to https://t.me/vythera_apps.

Fixes

  • Walk steps come straight from the phone's step counter, so with Health
Connect as your step source, a walk no longer pauses and resumes by itself.
