Install

• Chrome and Chromium: download specter-chrome.zip, extract it, open chrome://extensions, enable Developer mode, and choose Load unpacked. Select the extracted folder containing manifest.json.
• Firefox and compatible Gecko derivatives, Gecko 152+: download specter-firefox.zip, open about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox, choose Load Temporary Add-on, and select the ZIP. This archive is unsigned; temporary installation ends when the browser closes. Permanent installation requires a signed distribution where the browser enforces signing.
• Existing unpacked installations: replace the files and reload Specter from the extension manager. Reload already-open websites once to install the new extension code. Subsequent protection toggles apply live where supported.
