What's new

• Uses far less memory in the tray: about 2 MB instead of about 20 MB. While the window is hidden, Firebreak hands its idle memory, mostly the graphics driver's, back to Windows.
• The connection monitor pauses while the window is in the tray, so a hidden Firebreak no longer redraws itself on every connection change. It picks up again as soon as the window opens.

• firebreak-4.0.1-setup.exe is the installer. Most people want this one.
• firebreak-4.0.1-setup.msi is the Windows Installer package, for Group Policy, Intune, or msiexec /i ... /qn.
• firebreak-4.0.1-bin.zip is the portable build. Put an empty firebreak.ini next to firebreak.exe to keep the profile in that folder.

Both installers put Firebreak in C:\Program Files\Firebreak, beside the original simplewall, and close a running copy first. They replace simplewall (Rust) 3.9.x, and its settings, startup task, and skip-UAC task carry over. Install with either the .exe or the .msi, not both. Uninstalling leaves filters in place, so turn filtering off in the app first.
