DG_Decompile is a decompile of the dgVoodoo2 2.87.5 version fully fixed to work with Wine and Proton.
This release includes all 24 DLLs and both executables from the supplied fixed distribution, analyzed as 36 architecture views. It contains 54,620 recovered C-like function exports, readable code notes, assembly, symbols, strings, resources, and reproducible preparation and analysis scripts. All indexed functions produced pseudocode.
Downloads
- dgVoodoo2_87_5_inspection.tar.gz — complete inspection workspace, including all code and notes, exact input binaries, unpacked/projected analysis inputs, and 36 saved Ghidra 12.1.4 projects.
- dgVoodoo2_87_5_FIXED.zip — the exact original input distribution used for this decompilation: all 53 supplied files in their original layout, including 24 DLLs, 2 executables, configuration, documentation, and the existing Wine-fix report and evidence.
- Each archive has a .sha256 checksum and a .verify.json verification record.
The ZIP preserves the fixed inputs byte for byte, including the still-packed MS/x86/D3DImm.dll. The inspection package includes its unpacked copy and documents the UPX header restoration, commands, hashes and validation. Other supplied compatibility patches remain unchanged.
Inspection and verification
Start with the binary index and the reading guide. Git contains the browsable code, notes, resources, inventories and evidence. Binary inputs and Ghidra databases are provided in the downloads.
Static integrity checks passed for all 26 PE inputs and 36 views, including 4,138,300 exported instruction records, 1,290,660 hybrid decompiler instruction origins, 3,714 resource payloads and all 23 supplied Wine-fix instruction sites. Both release archives were read back and checked member by member against their expected hashes.
The recovered C is inspection pseudocode with inferred names and types. It is not a buildable source restoration. Remaining coverage gaps and calling-convention limitations are documented. The earlier Wine-fix report records the compatibility changes and their runtime-test scope; this publication adds no new runtime test claims.
