Notched v0.1.0
The first build of Notched, a Dynamic Island for the MacBook notch. It shows what's playing, your calendar and reminders, the weather with a UV index, timers, downloads, battery, Claude Code chat tracking and usage, and more, and it all expands from the notch with a click or a hover. Two-finger swipe sideways anywhere on the open island to move through the cards and tabs.
Install (macOS 26 or later), by pasting and runnings this one command into Terminal:
curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Notched17/Notched/main/scripts/install-from-release.sh | bash
It checks the download, installs Notched into your Applications folder in your home directory and opens it. Features that need a permission, such as Calendar or Location, only ask when you turn them on.
This is an early build for friends. It isn't notarised by Apple yet, which is why the one-line install is the easiest way in.
If you download the zip in a browser instead, macOS may block it: open System Settings ▸ Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway. Notched is free and open source (GPL-3.0).
