Luna Player 1.4.1CC (beta)

Beta — Luna Player 1.4.1CC. Installed Luna offers it only with betas turned on (Settings › General › Updates). For everyone else, 1.3.9 stays the current version.

New

• Where are your films? With no library folder yet, the home screen asks for one right away.
• Films and series apart: the Folders page has film folders and series folders. In a series folder each show is its own folder, "Season 2" is the season, and "03 - Pilot.mkv" is the episode.
• The same film twice: copies sit side by side ("2 copies"), and the film's page lets you pick which one to watch (quality, subtitles, size).
• SRT badge: a video with a subtitle file next to it shows "SRT" beside its quality.
• Rename files in Luna: right-click › Rename file… (its subtitles are renamed too, where you stopped is kept). The assistant can do it as well.
• F11 everywhere, with a short "Full screen · F11 to leave" note each time Luna goes full screen.
• The assistant on other AIs: besides Gemini, OpenAI, Claude, or any OpenAI-compatible server at a base URL (OpenRouter, Groq, a local Ollama / LM Studio…).
• Letterboxd:
  • any form of link or just the user name;
  • a progress card while it reads;
  • all of a friend's watched films;
  • "This is my profile" saves your own watched films, ratings and watchlist;
  • "Hide what I watched" hides them in friends' lists.

Fixed

• The Collections window let the posters behind show through.
