Binaries bin-v0.9.5
Prebuilt release binaries (cgraph, graphd, cgraph-client, cgraph-mcp).
What's new since bin-v0.9.4
- Minified bundles extract in seconds, not hours (#204). Indexing a 2.9 MB
mermaid.min.js(lines up to 278k characters) never finished before; one build was killed after 2 h. The JS extractor now indexes each scope's writes and each block's declarations once per parse and walks children with a tree cursor. That file now takes 17-28 s with an identical graph (8,318 nodes, 180,429 links). - The daemon starts at a git repository root;
cgraph-outignores itself (#199).cgraph-mcpstarts the daemon at startup for a git repository root (or a root that already hascgraph-out/), so the pre-edit hook has a daemon to ask. The daemon writescgraph-out/.gitignore(*) sogit statusstays clean. - Shorter cgraph skill (#196).
SKILL.mdnow covers the four default tools and the gotchas (2.1 KB, about 950 tokens when loaded, down from 7,866); the full guide moves unchanged toreference.mdin the same directory. - Failed extractions are retried (#194). A file whose extractor crashed was recorded with its source hash and zero nodes, so it was never extracted again until its content changed. The hash is now recorded only when extraction completes.
- An unusable semantic cache is set aside, not overwritten (#207). A truncated, malformed, duplicate or old-schema cache file is moved to
<name>.invalidbefore the next write;graphdlogs where it went andenrich ingestprints a warning. - File watcher debounce (#206). The debounce window now runs from the first unflushed change, so a file that changes on every poll is reported once per window instead of never.
- Homebrew (#202, #205).
brew install nxtsoft/cgraph/cgraphinstalls from the Nxtsoft tap; CI now times a cold install to the first answer on clean macOS and Linux runners and installs the formula from a local tap. - Benchmarks and tests (#198, #200). Multi-file billed-cost A/B over 71 SWE-bench Verified tasks under
bench/, and a fix for thelone repository: nullrace in the client hook test.
