The breath between sentences is longer (0.42 s, was 0.3), the writer is told to pause after every key point, new term and number, and to cut a fact before cutting a pause; the narration audit now checks for facts that arrive back to back. check warns after 45 s without a pause and above 82% talking.
• Lighter frames. Builders aim for 10 to 14 words on screen at once.
• Captions get their own band. With captions drawn into the picture, the scenes are drawn slightly smaller so nothing sits underneath them.
