FLEX Download Manager 1.0 is a fast, lightweight, open-source segmented download manager for Windows 10/11 (x64), built from scratch in C++17 using Qt 6 Widgets and the native WinHTTP networking stack.
Highlights
- Multi-Connection Segmented Downloading: Splits files into dynamic byte-range segments downloaded in parallel, with persistent cross-session pause/resume support.
- Browser Integration (Chromium MV3 Extension): Automatically intercepts downloads in Chrome, Brave, and Edge with an IDM-style Download File Info dialog and context-menu integration.
- Smart Video & Audio Grabber: In-page media download overlay supporting direct streams as well as multi-resolution video/audio extraction (
1080p/1440p/4K) on YouTube, X/Twitter, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitch, Vimeo, Reddit, and SoundCloud powered byyt-dlp. - Queues, Scheduler & Speed Limiter: Organize downloads by automatic file-type categories, custom categories, scheduled queues, and bandwidth limits.
- Native Dark Theme & Full Arabic/English Localization: Clean dark interface with instant switching between English (LTR) and Arabic (RTL).
- Self-Contained Installer: Dependency-free Win32 setup (
FLEX Download Manager 1.0 Setup.exe) with per-user installation, uninstaller, and guided browser extension setup.
