EN—The render style
3 modes are automatically applied depending on the type of profiles OsmAnd
these 3 modes play on the colors of the tracks and their representation.
les chemins
les sentiers
the 3 profiles provided in the installation file are pre-configured like this
- pedestrian for the enduro profile
- bicycle for the petit trail profile
- default for the gros trail profile and any other
the contour lines and the shading of the terrain appear at the 200m zoom (if the map zoom is 75%), you can of course modify it afterwards.
- for the enduro profile all the tracks are in continuous dark green lines, the pistes remain in brown, only the paths are in black dotted lines.
- for the petit trail profile the tracks are in dark green with dotted lines according to their "quality" and a switch "cacher chemin sans info" (hide path without info) allows to toggle the tracks without precisions in OSM in continuous line, the pistes are in brown and the paths in black.
- for the gros trail profile the tracks in green are less dark (better differentiation with the brown pistes) and the paths in gray.
in the 3 profiles it is possible to switch the display to a "comme IGN" mode to
- on the one hand look like French IGN 1/25000 blue maps (better legibility of some elements at the expense of details on the tracks)
- on the other hand allow the display in "underlay" of the IGN maps provided in "live" or previously recorded without disturbing the readability.
when using "comme IGN" mode with underlayed map the following are disabled
- stream / river
- points on the ground except barriers
- texts
- contour line
the spawn levels of the elements are synchronized with that of the cards.
for "road" use (does not appear for the enduro profile)
- only the tracks are represented in gray green
- no hiking or mtb markings
- less points (nature / soil etc)
- level curves only at high zooms
(in case of underlayed map)
available in 3 profiles
- adds dark "underline" to paths and tracks to make them more visible on satellite imagery
- toggle paths to light gray for readability
- suitable colors for various elements
(readability is improved for text by switching to night mode)
to save battery with an OLED screen
- adapts the colors of various elements
- disable some elements
(hide difficulty) accessible at the bottom of the "Map rendering" menu
- removes the colored dots on the paths representing the difficulty.
(hide markups) accessible at the bottom of the "Map rendering" menu
- remove the highlighting of hiking / mountain biking routes and their icons.
