The scope of this project has changed from just being random effects to a full-blown randomizer. Includes a mod menu to toggle settings, which are:
- Randomize Collectables (randomized once per game instance)
- Random Effects (with a slider to adjust the delay timer)
- Meow gives a speed boost (2x while the meow audio plays, effects ground and swim speed)
To install this mod, you will first need the latest experimental build of UE4SS
Extract it to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Curiosity\Curiosity\Binaries\Win64
It should have added a ue4ss folder to the above directory. Download this release below and extract it into ue4ss/Mods. It should look like ue4ss/Mods/RandomizerMod/..
You will then need to go into ue4ss/Mods/mods.txt and add this line to the bottom:
RandomizerMod : 1
Now launch Curiosity and it should load the randomizer. You can trigger the mod menu on the title screen by pressing F5
