@glenntosco glenntosco released this 17 Oct 11:35

First public release.

Added

  • Live CPU xx% / RAM xx% readout drawn over the Windows 11 taskbar, just left of the
    notification area, in two stacked lines styled like the clock.
  • Refresh once per second; a value turns red at 85% or above.
  • Text colour follows the taskbar theme (dark text on a light taskbar, white on a dark one)
    and updates when the theme changes.
  • Hover tooltip with CPU %, RAM % and used / total memory in GB.
  • Right-click menu: Start with Windows, Task Manager, Exit.
  • Double-click opens Task Manager.
  • Spanish menu labels when the Windows display language is Spanish.
  • Single instance: a second copy exits silently.
  • Signed per-user installer (Pulsebar-Setup.exe, Inno Setup) with a Start Pulsebar when I sign in
    option, Spanish wizard text, and no administrator rights needed. The installed exe is
    self-contained, so no .NET runtime download is required.
  • Pulsebar logo and application icon (P4 Blue tile, white pulse trace, orange live dot).
  • Hides itself while a fullscreen app is in front, while the taskbar is auto-hidden, and
    when the taskbar is not at the bottom of the primary monitor.

Download: Pulsebar-Setup.exe is the signed per-user installer (self-contained, nothing else to install). Pulsebar.exe is the signed portable exe and needs the .NET 10 Desktop Runtime. Both files are code-signed by P4 Software.
