Package Split Function leading to Unexpected Results

I'm not sure what is happening with the new dose_response_metric "split_class" .

split_class is a temporary column that get's added internally to make the stratification work. It should be removed by this line in the code

df_full.drop(labels=['split_class'], axis=1, inplace=True)

before the datasets get transformed into long format and stored into the splits object (what is displayed in the initial comment). I need to check why it fails to remove the column.

This behavior is limited to 'mixed-set' splitting with stratification.
