1. C2-Vita VPK v1.0 (Emulated Version)

   What it is: A standard .vpk package that runs the game directly through an emulation/runtime layer on the PS Vita.

   How to use:

    Download the C2-Vita_v1.0.vpk file from the releases page.
   
    Install the VPK using VitaShell on your modded PS Vita.
   
    Launch the game from your LiveArea.
   

   Verification: The game bubble appears on your LiveArea home screen and boots into the title menu when opened.

2. Native Patcher Tool

   What it is: A patching utility designed to convert/patch game assets so you can run the game natively on hardware for optimal frame rates and stability.

   How to use:

    Download the patcher tool package for your operating system from the releases page.
   
    Provide the required original game files/assets when prompted by the tool.
   
    Transfer the generated native output files to your PS Vita via FTP or USB using VitaShell.
   

   Verification: The patcher completes successfully without errors and generates the required native data files ready for transfer.

🛠️ System Requirements

A modded PlayStation Vita or PlayStation TV (running HENkaku / enso).

Sufficient free memory card space for game assets.

For the Native Patcher: Original game data files (please refer to specific setup notes in the release asset description).

Game

Your own PC installation of Civilization II: Multiplayer Gold Edition (tested: 5.4.0f German; the English edition should work)

Civ2UIALauncher version 1.21.6.2800 (Civ2UIA): You must install and run the Civ2UIALauncher on your PC installation of Civilization II before building/transferring the files. This patches the game's executable and UI to enable proper interface and control support on the PS Vita. (Game version Multiplayer Gold Edition 5.4.0f (Patch 3) is supported only.)
