Faker v0.1.0

Initial release of Perfscale/faker, a deterministic Faker-style Rust/WASM library for the stable Perfscale Library SDK.

API

• internet("email") — synthetic email on reserved example.com/net/org domains.
• address(...) — street address, postal code, city, state abbreviation, and country.
• payment(...) — Visa test number, expiration month/year, and CVV.
• Optional with.language: en (default; the only corpus in v0.1.0).
• Optional with.encoding: plain (default) or url for percent-encoded form/query values.

All random choices use the Perfscale SDK seeded PRNG. The component needs capabilities: [] and does not use network, filesystem, WASI random, or WASI clock imports.

Artifacts

• faker.wasm and faker.wasm.sha256 are attached below.
• ghcr.io/perfscale/faker:0.1.0 and ghcr.io/perfscale/faker:latest are multi-arch, artifact-only OCI images for COPY --from in a consuming Dockerfile. Pin the multi-arch digest in production.

Verification and docs

• Initial PR with CI: host/WASM Clippy, 9 unit tests, component build, and a real Perfscale v0.28.0 SQLite e2e.
• Release workflow completed successfully; release checksum and anonymous GHCR pull were also verified.
• Documentation: English · Русский.
• Real-world use: Online Boutique migration.

This is a small English corpus, not a complete Python Faker port. It uses library functions inside ordinary steps, not the draft custom-step RFC.
