网页搜索 差分协处理器可以通过 DeepSeek 的搜索与网页读取查阅文档、报错信息等公开资料。网页读取在 DeepSeek 的服务器上进行，无法访问本机或局域网，因此无需确认。读取的网页保存在工作区中，可在查看器中打开。
快捷键 常用操作均可通过快捷键完成，例如 Ctrl+N 新建会话、Ctrl+K 搜索会话、Esc 停止当前工作；确认请求可按数字键选择。按 Ctrl+/ 查看全部快捷键，「设置」侧栏底部也有入口。macOS 上以 ⌘ 代替 Ctrl。
@ 文件与引用 用 @ 选取的文件在输入栏中显示为文件标签，可查看路径、打开或移除。PDF 现在也可以引用：开启查看器的切块引用后，正文按段落分块，引用以页码标注。引用的内容不会自行触发委派，编辑或召回消息时引用一并恢复。
界面与稳定性 附加的文档改在后台线程读取，含大量图片的 PDF 不再导致窗口卡顿。命令超时或退出后，权限检查按其实际所在的目录进行；在 .herta 目录中运行的命令不再交给自动审核。此外修复了快捷键、引用、文档读取与设置方面的若干问题。

macOS 构建已签名并通过 Apple 公证。已安装 0.1.8 的 Windows、macOS 与 Linux（AppImage）用户将自动收到更新。
Linux 版下载后需先执行 chmod +x Herta-x86_64.AppImage 再运行，之后的版本可在应用内更新。在限制非特权用户命名空间的发行版上（如 Ubuntu 24.04 的默认配置），AppImage 会在关闭 Chromium 沙箱的情况下运行。
使用前需配置 DeepSeek API 密钥，密钥仅保存在本机；自动审核、输入预测、PDF 图片转写与网页搜索也使用该密钥。语音模型在首次启用实时语音时下载。
第三方声明 安装包内的语音合成运行时是 sherpa-onnx 1.13.6 的预编译包，其中静态链接了 espeak-ng（GPL-3.0-or-later）与 piper-phonemize（MIT）。对应源码：k2-fsa/sherpa-onnx v1.13.6 的构建树，以及它所拉取的 csukuangfj/espeak-ng@ed530aa 与 csukuangfj/piper-phonemize@f3ff95a。完整的许可证文本随应用安装在资源目录的 THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.md 中。

Web search — The Coprocessor can look up documentation, error messages and other public material through DeepSeek's search and page reading. Pages are read on DeepSeek's servers, which cannot reach this machine or your local network, so no confirmation is asked. The pages it read are kept in the workspace and open in the file viewer.
Keyboard shortcuts — Common actions have keyboard shortcuts, such as Ctrl+N for a new session, Ctrl+K to search sessions and Esc to stop the current run; a confirmation can be answered with the number keys. Ctrl+/ lists every shortcut, and the foot of the Settings sidebar opens the same list. On macOS, ⌘ takes Ctrl's place.
@-files and quotes — A file picked with @ shows in the composer as a file chip, from which you can see its path, open it or remove it. PDFs can now be quoted: with piece quoting on in the viewer, the text splits into paragraphs, and a quote is labelled by page. Quoted content never delegates on its own, and editing or recalling a message brings its quotes back.
Interface and stability — Attached documents are read on a background thread, so a PDF full of pictures no longer freezes the window. After a command times out or exits, permission checks follow the directory it actually runs in; commands run inside the .herta folder are no longer left to auto-review. Several issues with shortcuts, quotes, document reading and Settings are fixed.
macOS builds are signed and notarized by Apple. Existing 0.1.8 installs on Windows, macOS and Linux (AppImage) update automatically.
On Linux, run chmod +x Herta-x86_64.AppImage once before starting it; later versions update in the app. On distributions that restrict unprivileged user namespaces (Ubuntu 24.04's default, for example), the AppImage runs with Chromium's sandbox turned off.
A DeepSeek API key is required; it is stored only on your machine, and auto-review, composer predictions, PDF picture transcription and web search use it too. The voice model downloads the first time real-time voice is enabled.
Third-party notices — the speech-synthesis runtime in the installer is sherpa-onnx 1.13.6's prebuilt package, which statically links espeak-ng (GPL-3.0-or-later) and piper-phonemize (MIT).
