Fixes Android tablets and phones freezing and running out of memory when a second connection arrived after a first one (the old session screen kept restarting its ended session). The device's own screen now says who ended a session correctly. Includes signed connections, monitor pictures and the corner mark from 0.4.0.

Signed connections: each device proves who it is on every connection and your other devices check it (Windows, Android and web). Shows Verified with a short code to compare. The monitor picker shows a picture of each screen. A small corner mark with the device name and time sits over the remote screen (can be turned off). The Windows app is hardened against being run as a plain Node shell.

The first public release of CTRL: control any of your devices from any other.

What's in it

  • Windows app: control this PC from your other devices, and control them from it. A banner shows whenever the PC is being controlled, with Pause and End, and Ctrl+Alt+Shift+X ends every session at once.
  • Android app: control your PC from your phone with touch, a trackpad mode, the keyboard and special keys; or let your phone or tablet be controlled.
  • Files and clipboard: send files of any size, straight across your Wi-Fi when you share one.
  • One switch: the power button turns CTRL off on that device, background work included, until you turn it back on.

iPhone, iPad and Mac: open app.ctrl.chitemere.co.zw in the browser. No install needed.
