RUTE 0.12.0

Follow a space. Share one of your spaces, a class timetable, a team's fixtures or a 30-day plan, by a link, a code or a QR code. Everyone who follows gets it in their own RUTE, with its reminders, and when you change something it changes for them too. Following needs no account. A plan can start on the day each person starts it. Send a note to everyone following, and it shows on their Today and as a notification. Changes and notes now reach phones at once, even with RUTE closed, and a streak buddy who finishes first nudges you. Links to a shared space open RUTE straight away. Installs over any earlier RUTE, keeping everything.

RUTE's icon in the notification bar is bigger: the R now fills its space instead of sitting small in the middle, so it matches other apps' icons. Everything from 0.11.0 is included.

RUTE 0.11.0

Paying for RUTE Work now happens inside RUTE. Payonify's page opens in the app, and the moment the payment goes through it closes by itself and RUTE says Paid, without sending you to the website. RUTE Work also moves faster: every ticket says its next step (Start, To review, Done) and has Undo, moving a ticket or ticking its steps on its page saves at once, My work's numbers show just the late, doing or finished tickets when you tap them, the board has more room for tickets, and each project shows what is due next.

RUTE 0.10.0

Reminders and timers now ring at the exact minute. On newer Android phones they could ring up to an hour late unless you found Allow exact alarms in Settings; RUTE now gets this by itself when you install it. Also new since 0.9.0: every look is a flat colour (Glass is one calm colour with frosted panels), RUTE moves on to the new day at midnight, reminders are set two weeks ahead, a running timer keeps going when you go back, and you can skip or move one day of a repeating task. Email accounts get Forgot your password and Change password. Plan's week shows how many tasks each day holds and has a Today button, Today puts your tasks before a smaller Missed card, Help, Customer service and About each have their own short page, and tapping a widget opens its own screen.

RUTE 0.9.0

Widgets any size: make any RUTE widget as small as one row or bigger, and it fits itself to the space. Short lists stretch to fill it, wide widgets show two columns, and one row high it's a single line with what matters most. On phones widgets stay compact: longer lists show a page at a time with arrows to see the rest. Today fills spare room with tomorrow, and Next up with what's later today. Every RUTE widget is now a stack: tap the button at its top right to flip to the next one, and choose which ones it flips through in Settings, Widgets. Times are no longer repeated when you add a class or set how long a task takes.

RUTE 0.8.0

Add tasks by typing them the way you'd say them (Gym tomorrow 6am, Call mum every Sunday at 7pm). Search everything from any tab. Repeats every other week, on a day of the month, or until a date you choose. Delete anything and Undo it for five seconds. Sort out missed tasks in one place. Take a rest day without losing your streak. Save a day or a week as a plan and use it again. Focus on a task with a 15 to 60-minute timer. Share the grocery list with the people you live with. RUTE 0.7.0

Every part of RUTE now has its own colour, and headers stay put while you scroll. New Lists tab for groceries: items sort themselves into aisles and you tick them off in the shop. Classes run from one time to another (18:30 to 19:50). Choose your alarm sound from your phone's alarm tones or any song. Turn individual notifications and interactions on or off in Settings. Start fresh from Settings, Account. RUTE Work: a better board, checklists and comments on tickets, and inviting people into a project with a code. Seven widgets, each with its own look, showing a page at a time.

Class timetable: open a Study space, tap Class timetable and add your classes by subject, room, days and start time. RUTE reminds you before each one. The This week widget has its own preview in the widget picker.
