Prerequisites

Steps to reproduce

Both of the files referenced in Actual Behavior are in the specified directory. I have no clue what's going on, and the recommended documentation tells me nothing. Others are also having issues with this, but the only post I can find about it was closed with no conclusive answer found. This is a Windows app I need to install.

I am new to Linux, and I need this app to work. Any help will be appreciated.

It looks like you are trying to side load an app built for MSIX installation, but on Linux.

Yes I am. I can run it through proton in Steam if I can get it to just run the script... I've done that many times.

The immediate problem is that \Downloads\jwlib\install.ps1 should be Downloads\jwlib\install.ps1 or ~\Downloads\jwlib\install.ps1

The real problem seems to be that your script isn't self-contained, and that you seemingly forgot to provide the supporting files it needs when you copied / downloaded it to ~\Downloads\jwlib

Note that neither problem is related to PowerShell itself.
