ClickType 1.0

ClickType 1.0 is a macOS menu bar app that types the current plain-text clipboard as keyboard events when you click its icon.

Install

1. Download ClickType-1.0.0-macOS.zip, extract it, and move ClickType.app to Applications.
2. Open ClickType, copy some text, and put the caret in another app's text field.
3. Click the menu bar icon. On first use, grant ClickType Accessibility access in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility, then try again. A restart may be needed after granting access.

Requires macOS 13 or later on Apple Silicon (arm64). The app is signed with a Developer ID certificate, notarized by Apple, and distributed under the MIT license. The .sha256 asset contains the ZIP's SHA-256 checksum.

Some apps may ignore synthetic keyboard events; secure or privileged fields may reject them.
