From open-source experiment to mature tool: Sossoldi officially reaches Version 1.0! 🚀
When you manage your personal finances, you aren't just tracking numbers. You are building awareness. For an open-source application, reaching v1.0 means one thing above all else: trust.
Over the past few months, we chose not to chase flashy features, but to do the heavy lifting instead. We rebuilt the foundations to ensure that every calculation is accurate, every piece of data is secure, and the daily experience is smooth.
What Sossoldi v1.0 brings:
• Data architecture and security: We redesigned database management so that modifying or deleting categories and accounts always happens in complete safety, without risking the integrity of your past budget or transaction history.
• A faster user experience: We streamlined daily tracking by introducing shortcuts for frequent accounts and categories, along with revamped settings management.
• The big return to iOS: iOS users receive a double update that catches up on all the work from v0.3.2 alongside v1.0 (subcategories, drag-and-drop reordering, and the Face ID fix).
Version 1.0 is not the finish line, but our official starting line. It is the solid foundation we needed before dedicating ourselves to the next major evolution of the app.
