Bug Reports & Feature Requests

We use GitHub Issues for bug reports and feature requests.

Before filing an issue

  • Check if it's already reported in open issues
  • Make sure you're on the latest version (git pull && docker compose up -d --build)

Filing a bug report

Click New Issue and include:

1. What happened Describe what you expected vs. what you saw.

2. Steps to reproduce

1. Open the panel at http://...
2. Click on ...
3. See error

3. Relevant logs

# Agent logs:
docker compose logs rcp-meshtastic-agent --tail=50
docker compose logs rcp-meshcore-agent --tail=50

# Panel logs:
docker compose logs rcp-app --tail=50

4. Environment

  • Hardware: Raspberry Pi 4 / Pi 5 / other
  • Radio: Meshtastic (which device?) / Meshcore (which device?)
  • rcpCodex version: git log -1 --oneline
  • Docker version: docker --version

Feature requests

Open an issue with the label enhancement and describe:

  • What you'd like to see
  • Why it would be useful
  • Any relevant use cases (emergency services, community mesh, etc.)
