Beatforge 0.2.0

Beatforge is a local Windows app for generating osu!standard beatmap drafts with Mapperatorinator V32. Generated maps still need review and editing in osu! Editor. Beatforge is independent of osu! and is not endorsed by its developers.

What's new

• Add Creator, Unicode title and artist, Source, and public Tags to song metadata.
• Set HP, OD, base slider multiplier, and slider tick rate for each difficulty.
• Preserve accepted settings when retrying a job, and record requested and applied values in provenance.
• Apply negative descriptor guidance when a negative prompt is supplied.

The Windows installer is not Authenticode signed, so Windows may show an unverified publisher warning. The separate Tauri updater signature is verified when applying updates. Download the installer from this Release and check its SHA-256 against SHA256SUMS.txt. The AI runtime and model are downloaded during first setup; they are not included in the installer.

An isolated HTTPS 0.1.0 → 0.2.0 update, interrupted download, and offline recovery/retry were reported working by the tester. This test ran in an existing Windows account; a clean-environment install and the production GitHub update endpoint were not part of that test.

Windows 安裝檔沒有 Authenticode 簽章，可能顯示未驗證發行者提醒。Tauri updater 使用獨立簽章驗證。請從此 Release 下載安裝檔，並以 SHA256SUMS.txt 核對 SHA-256。AI runtime 與模型於首次設定下載，不包含於安裝檔。

使用者回報隔離 HTTPS 的 0.1.0 → 0.2.0 更新、下載中斷與離線復原／重試正常；測試在既有 Windows 帳號執行，未涵蓋乾淨環境安裝或正式 GitHub 更新端點。

Beatforge v0.1.0

Windows Authenticode unsigned: if the release uses the free unsigned
distribution path, Windows will not show a verified Publisher and may warn or
block the download or installer under local security policy. The Tauri updater
signature protects update artifacts separately; it does not make the Windows
executable Authenticode-signed. Verify the release source and SHA-256 checksum
before installation. Do not disable Windows security features for Beatforge.

Included

• Windows x64 current-user NSIS installer and Tauri updater metadata.
• Pinned Mapperatorinator V32 generation, multi-difficulty jobs, validation,
  preview and osu! import.
• Optional background image/video and per-difficulty generation settings.
• Managed runtime/model downloads, offline reuse, diagnostic export and
  English/Traditional Chinese interface.

Requirements and boundaries

Windows 10/11 x64 is the supported OS target. The first setup downloads the
pinned runtime and model; generation needs adequate local disk and memory.
CUDA compatibility and actual tested hardware are described in
GPU_SUPPORT_MATRIX.md. Windows 7, ARM64 and 32-bit Windows are unsupported.

Generated beatmaps require human review. Do not assume that validation or
successful import makes a beatmap ready for ranked submission. Follow the
AI disclosure and osu! upload guidance.
