Remvyn 2.7.2
What's new
SFTP: sort and filter: click Name, Size or Modified to sort a pane, and click again to reverse. Folders stay on top, and numbered names sort naturally (file2 before file10). The box beside the path filters the folder as you type. ⌘F / Ctrl+F jumps to it and Esc clears it.
SFTP: drag several files at once: a multi-selection now drags as a whole between panes. Before, pressing on a selected row narrowed the selection to that one file.
SFTP: drop files from your computer: drag files or folders in from Finder, Explorer or your file manager. Dropped on the server pane they upload; dropped on the local pane they're copied. You're asked before anything is overwritten.
SFTP: New file button: in each pane's toolbar, next to New folder. It creates the file and opens it in the editor.

What's new
Several vaults, one GitHub account: Settings → Vaults lists the vaults on this computer. New vault opens an empty one next to the one you have, for example to keep work servers apart from personal ones. It stays signed in to GitHub, so Sync goes straight to choosing a repository: pick a new private repository and the vault syncs there, with its own master password. Each vault has its own hosts, keys, passwords, snippets and settings. Repositories already used by another vault are greyed out in the picker, and the lock screen says which vault is locked and can open another. Switching vaults closes open terminals and forwards. Your existing data becomes the "Default" vault, unchanged.

What's new
Path completion: type a path in the terminal (/var/www/, ~/, app/Ht) and what's in that folder pops up under the cursor, narrowing as you type. ↑↓ choose, Tab inserts (a folder's contents show next), Esc hides it. Tab on any argument lists the folder you're in, so cd + Tab shows what's here and cd mon + Tab completes monitoring/. Relative paths follow cd in local shells and persistent (tmux) sessions. Listings come from the server through one helper shell kept open per terminal, so each one is a single round trip, and a Tab pressed before the list or your typed text arrives waits for it instead of racing the shell. Hidden files show once you type a .. The Command suggestions setting turns it off.
Scrolling in persistent sessions: the mouse wheel now scrolls tmux's own history, so long output such as cat .env scrolls all the way back, and it scrolls inside full-screen programs like nano. Shift+wheel scrolls the terminal's own scrollback. Typing returns to the prompt.
Typing stays in order: fast typing and pastes can no longer arrive at the server out of order.

What's new
Command suggestions (thanks @kiurd-gentleman, #2): as you type in a terminal, the rest of a matching past command shows in faint text, as in fish. → or End accepts it, Ctrl+→ accepts one word, Shift+Delete forgets it, and Ctrl+Space lists more matches. Suggestions come from commands typed in Remvyn (saved per host, encrypted, never synced) and from the server's own bash, zsh or fish history. Passwords aren't recorded. Works inside persistent sessions and with broadcast input. Turn it off or clear the history in Settings → Terminal.
In-app updates (thanks @kiurd-gentleman, #3): from this version on, Remvyn checks GitHub Releases at launch and every 6 hours, shows Update available in the sidebar, and Update and restart downloads the new version, checks its SHA-256 checksum, installs it and reopens. Sessions kept alive on the server reconnect afterwards. Arch (PKGBUILD) installs link to the release page instead. Settings → Updates turns automatic checks off.
This is the last version you need to download by hand.

What's new
Sessions that survive disconnects: SSH shells now run inside tmux on the server (if it has tmux 3.0 or later), so a dropped connection, a sleeping laptop or a restart doesn't end them. Remvyn reconnects by itself and puts you back where you were. After a restart, a new tab offers to resume sessions that are still running, scrollback included. Closing a tab ends its session. It feels like a normal shell: no tmux status bar, no prefix key, and your own tmux sessions aren't touched. You can turn it off in Settings → Terminal.
Broadcast input: type into every pane of a tab, or every open terminal, at once (Ctrl/⌘+Shift+B or the toolbar button). Terminals receiving input are outlined.
SSH key forwarding: turn on "Forward my SSH keys" for a host, and git or ssh on that server can use your keychain's keys, for example to git pull a private repo, without copying keys there. The keys never leave Remvyn, and each use asks: Deny, Allow once, or Allow for this connection. AI agents only get forwarded keys if you allow it on the AI agents page, and they still ask every time.

What's new
Local terminal tabs: open a shell on your own computer next to your SSH sessions, from the ⌘T menu, the title-bar button or Ctrl/⌘+Alt+T. Uses your login shell on macOS and Linux, and PowerShell (or cmd) on Windows.
Split panes: split any terminal tab right (Ctrl/⌘+D) or down (Ctrl/⌘+Alt+D), drag the dividers to resize, move between panes with Ctrl/⌘+Alt+arrow keys, and close the focused pane with Ctrl/⌘+W. Splitting an SSH tab opens a second connection to the same host.
Passwords on Android: the phone app has a new Passwords tab for the logins, API tokens and secure notes in your synced vault. It has search and filters, reveal and copy (copied secrets clear from the clipboard after 30 seconds or when the app locks), and live two-factor codes.
For contributors: Remvyn is now MIT licensed, with contribution guidelines, a security policy and issue templates.

What's new
Built-in file editor in SFTP: double-click a text file to edit it in a tab, with syntax highlighting, find and replace, and Ctrl/Cmd+S. Saves warn you if the file changed on the server since you opened it.
Open with your own editor: VS Code, Cursor, Sublime, JetBrains IDEs and more. Remote files are uploaded back on every save.
Right-click menu in both panes: cut, copy, paste, duplicate, copy path, compress to .zip/.tar.gz, extract, new file, rename, permissions and delete.
Thanks to @kiurd-gentleman for this contribution (#1).

New: Passwords. A password vault inside Remvyn for email and website logins, API tokens and secure notes.
- Two-factor codes: paste a site's setup key and Remvyn shows the 6-digit code
- Password generator, extra fields (app passwords, client IDs, recovery codes), favorites and search
- Every field, names included, is encrypted with your vault key and synced end-to-end encrypted. Secrets are only decrypted when you reveal, copy or edit them
- Copied passwords are cleared from the clipboard after 30 seconds; revealed ones hide again after 30 seconds
- AI agents never see them
Tip: set a master password (Settings) so the vault key isn't stored on your computer.
If you sync several devices, update all of them. Older versions can't read password items and will stop syncing until they're updated.

Sync works with your own GitHub account. Remvyn now ships with a public GitHub App, so anyone can choose Sign in with GitHub, pick their own private repository and sync their encrypted vault. No setup needed.
New: Windows build (x64). Use the installer, or the zip if you'd rather not install.
Also
- macOS: closing the window keeps Remvyn running in the background, so AI agents keep working. Open it again from the Dock.
- "Allowed until" labels on the AI agents page disappear once they expire.
