Initial public release of Hisuite-For-Linux, an unofficial native Huawei HiSuite implementation for Linux, made by RedmiNote11Tech.
- Contacts, messages, media, apps and internal-storage file management.
- Encrypted native backup/restore and read-only screen previews.
- Official EMUI/HarmonyOS updates and eligible rollbacks, HiSuite Proxy-style custom firmware selection with native authorization, and PC-only firmware archives / UPDATE.APP extraction.
- CachyOS / Arch Linux x86_64 package; requires android-tools.
Hardware evidence is primarily from the Nova 9: official upgrade/rollback verified after boot, native folder listing, and a small encrypted clock backup/native restore round trip. It does not establish every device or backup category.
Known limits: intermittent USB resets remain unresolved. SMS sending, remote touch control, full system recovery, standalone HDB transport, Windows backup import and complete Windows UI/feature parity are not implemented. Custom firmware requires Huawei and device approval; rollback can erase data.
Original project code is MIT licensed; Huawei assets and upstream-derived components retain the exclusions in THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.
Validation: 325 regression tests passed; packaged GUI/CLI smoke checks passed. The checksum file accompanies the CachyOS/Arch package.
