Download (all three are the same PhoneEdge 1.9):

  • PhoneEdge-1.9.0-Setup.exe: run it, done. It also updates an older PhoneEdge (your settings stay). Not sure? Take this one.
  • PhoneEdge-1.9.0-win-x64-bundled.zip: no installer, .NET included.
  • PhoneEdge-1.9.0-win-x64.zip: for PCs that already have the .NET 8 Desktop Runtime.

Already on 1.6, 1.7 or 1.8? Click Update now in the tray panel (or Settings → General → Check for updates). The phone extras on your phone update themselves the next time PhoneEdge connects. "Windows protected your PC"? PhoneEdge isn't code-signed yet: click More info → Run anyway.

New: talk to your PC

  • Voice commands. Tap the mic on your phone (the remote, the widget, the PC player card, the new Voice command tile, or long-press the PhoneEdge icon) and say what you want: "open Claude and Opera", "volume 30", "search YouTube for lo-fi music", "pause", "next", "show desktop", "lock the PC". English, Arabic, or both in one sentence («افتح Steam»).
  • Your words appear as you speak, and it stops by itself when you stop talking. No button to press.
  • At the PC: hold Right Ctrl and talk, let go and it's done (Settings → Connection → Voice commands). Pick which microphone: Windows' default, any mic you have, or your phone's (it listens even when it's locked, just for that).
  • Works in a noisy room: it stops by itself once your words stop, even with a fan or TV on.
  • Speed or accuracy: Fast answers in about half a second; Most accurate (the full Whisper large-v3, its own 3.1 GB download, for graphics cards with 6 GB or more) understands more, Arabic above all, in about a second.
  • Routines: one name opens several apps and web pages at once, e.g. "Work mode" → Claude + Opera. Say it, or tap its button on the phone's remote. Settings → Connection → Voice commands → Add a routine.
  • Private and free: your voice is turned into text on your own PC (Whisper). Nothing goes to the internet, and nothing you say is saved. The first time, PhoneEdge downloads the speech model once (about 0.9 GB; about 0.26 GB on PCs without a graphics card).

Also new

  • Pick where sound plays from the phone's remote: each its own, phone sound on the PC, or PC sound on the phone.
  • A cleaner phone status bar: Settings → Connection → Phone status bar icons: hide the alarm, silent, NFC and other icons. Android's "Wireless debugging connected" icon now really goes away on Honor phones too.
  • "What's new" in Arabic on PCs that use PhoneEdge in Arabic (from this version on).
  • Fixed: Settings sometimes stopped scrolling before the end of a page in a small window.

Tested on a Honor Magic V3 (Android 16) with Windows 11. Includes scrcpy 5.0.1 (with SDL3, FFmpeg, libusb), adb, NAudio and whisper.cpp / Whisper.net; their licenses are in the download.

جديد: تحدّث إلى الكمبيوتر

  • الأوامر الصوتية. انقر على الميكروفون في هاتفك (شاشة التحكم عن بُعد، أو الأداة، أو بطاقة مشغّل الكمبيوتر، أو زر أمر صوتي الجديد في الإعدادات السريعة، أو اضغط مطولًا على أيقونة PhoneEdge) وقل ما تريد: «افتح كلود وأوبرا»، «الصوت ٣٠»، «دوّر بيوتيوب على موسيقى هادئة»، «وقّف»، «التالي»، «سطح المكتب»، «اقفل الكمبيوتر». بالعربية أو الإنجليزية أو بالاثنتين في جملة واحدة («افتح Steam»).
  • تظهر كلماتك وأنت تتكلم، ويتوقف من تلقاء نفسه عندما تسكت. لا حاجة للضغط على أي زر.
  • على الكمبيوتر: اضغط مطولًا على Ctrl الأيمن وتكلّم، ثم اتركه وانتهى الأمر (الإعدادات ← الاتصال ← الأوامر الصوتية). اختر الميكروفون: الافتراضي في Windows، أو أي ميكروفون لديك، أو ميكروفون هاتفك (يستمع حتى وهو مقفل، لهذا فقط).
  • يعمل في غرفة فيها ضجيج: يتوقف من تلقاء نفسه عندما تتوقف كلماتك، حتى مع مروحة أو تلفاز.
  • السرعة أم الدقة: السريع يجيب في نحو نصف ثانية؛ والأدق (Whisper large-v3 الكامل، بتنزيل خاص به 3.1 غيغابايت، لبطاقات الرسومات التي فيها 6 غيغابايت أو أكثر) يفهم أكثر، والعربية خاصةً، في نحو ثانية.
  • الروتين: اسم واحد يفتح عدة تطبيقات وصفحات ويب معًا، مثل «وضع العمل» ← كلود + أوبرا. قله، أو انقر على زره في شاشة التحكم عن بُعد على الهاتف. الإعدادات ← الاتصال ← الأوامر الصوتية ← إضافة روتين.
  • خاص ومجاني: يتحوّل صوتك إلى نص على الكمبيوتر نفسه (Whisper). لا يُرسَل شيء إلى الإنترنت، ولا يُحفظ شيء مما تقوله. في المرة الأولى ينزّل PhoneEdge نموذج الكلام مرة واحدة (نحو 0.9 غيغابايت، ونحو 0.26 غيغابايت لأجهزة الكمبيوتر التي ليس فيها بطاقة رسوميات).

جديد أيضًا

  • اختر أين يُشغَّل الصوت من شاشة التحكم عن بُعد على الهاتف: كلٌّ على جهازه، أو صوت الهاتف على الكمبيوتر، أو صوت الكمبيوتر على الهاتف.
  • شريط حالة أنظف على الهاتف: الإعدادات ← الاتصال ← أيقونات شريط الحالة في الهاتف: أخفِ أيقونات المنبّه والصامت وNFC وغيرها. وأيقونة «تصحيح الأخطاء اللاسلكي متصل» في Android تختفي الآن فعلًا على هواتف Honor أيضًا.
  • «ما الجديد» بالعربية على أجهزة الكمبيوتر التي تستخدم PhoneEdge بالعربية (ابتداءً من هذه النسخة).
  • إصلاح: كانت الإعدادات تتوقف أحيانًا عن التمرير قبل نهاية الصفحة في نافذة صغيرة.

جُرِّب على هاتف Honor Magic V3 (Android 16) مع Windows 11. يتضمن scrcpy 5.0.1 (مع SDL3 وFFmpeg وlibusb) وadb وNAudio وwhisper.cpp / Whisper.net، وتراخيصها موجودة في التنزيل.
