  • AI Assist: the AI now throws a held boss when it can fight another enemy instead (not against the round-5 sisters).
  • AI Assist: Axel throws the rear attack into Abadede's unavoidable run.
  • AI Assist: better grabs, with a crossover and suplex instead of releasing to regrab; Bongo is only kneed.

Run Instructions

The apps are not signed, so your system will warn you the first time. It is safe to continue.

macOS

Before opening the .dmg, drag it onto I Am Sure I Want To Open This App. Then open the .dmg and run Streets of Rage Builder from it.

If you opened the dmg before unquarantining it, unmount it: Open Finder, press command + shift + C, and right click the icon and then click "Eject".

Windows

  1. Download StreetsOfRageBuilder-0.7.1-windows-x64.exe (or -windows-arm64.exe on ARM PCs such as Snapdragon).
  2. Chrome and Edge may say the file "isn't commonly downloaded" or "could be dangerous". In the downloads list, open the ⋯ menu next to the file and choose Keep, then Keep anyway (in Edge: Keep > Show more > Keep anyway).
  3. Double-click the file. If Windows SmartScreen shows "Windows protected your PC", click More info, then Run anyway.

Linux

Download the AppImage for your CPU (x86_64 or aarch64), then make it executable and run it:

chmod +x StreetsOfRageBuilder-0.7.1-x86_64.AppImage
./StreetsOfRageBuilder-0.7.1-x86_64.AppImage

Or right-click the file, open Properties > Permissions and tick Allow executing file as program, then double-click it. If it fails with a FUSE error, install libfuse2 (sudo apt install libfuse2; on Ubuntu 24.04 libfuse2t64) or run it with --appimage-extract-and-run.
