Towny Titles

Prefixes/Title

In Towny, every mayor, town, king and nation has a title. The town and nation title cannot be changed however in your nation or town you are able to grant any resident a title. You can change a town's resident title with the following command: /town set title {playername} {your_title}. You can change a nation's resident title with the following command: /nation set title {playername} {your_title}.

Suffixes/Surname

You can also set a surname for nation and town residents. You can change a town's resident surname with the following command: /town set surname {playername} {your_title}. You can change a nation's resident surname with the following command: /nation set surname {playername} {your_title}.

Below are the predetermined titles:

Mayor & Town Titles

Depending on the amount of players a town has, the mayor gets a different title and the Town gets a claim bonus. These titles go as follows:

• Hermit (1 player in town) & 30 town claim limit & Settlement town title.
• Chief (2-4 players in town) & 75 town claim limit & Hamlet town title.
• Baron Von (5-9 players in town) & 180 town claim limit & Village town title.
• Viscount (10-19 players in town) & 300 town claim limit & Town town title.
• Count Von (20-29 players in town) & 400 town claim limit & Large Town town title.
• Earl (30-39 players in town) & 500 town claim limit & City town title.
• Duke (40-49 players in town) & 600 town claim limit & Large City town title.
• Lord (50-99 players in town) & 700 town claim limit & Metropolis town title.
• Megaman (100+ players in town) & 850 town claim limit & Holycrapolis town title.

Note: Towns start off with 16 claims and these starting claims are not counted towards the Town or Nation bonus.

King Titles & Nation Titles

Depending on the amount of players a nation has, the king gets a different predetermined title and the nation gets a new title and nation bonus (increase in town claims for each Town in the nation). The nation leader's title, nation bonus and nation title go as follows:

• Leader (1-9 player in nation) & 40 town claim limit bonus & Land of (nation_name) nation title.
• Count (10-19 players in nation) & 60 nation bonus & Federation of (nation_name) nation title.
• Duke (20-29 players in nation) & 65 nation bonus & Dominion of (nation_name) nation title.
• King (30-39 players in nation) & 70 nation bonus & Kingdom of (nation_name) nation title.
• Emperor (40-59 players in nation) & 80 nation bonus & The (nation_name) Empire nation title.
• God Emperor (60-99 players in nation) & 95 nation bonus & The (nation_name) Realm nation title.
• Mighty (100-249 players in nation) & 110 nation bonus & Imperium of (nation_name) nation title.
• Forever Ruler (250-? players in nation) & 120 nation bonus & The Eternal (nation_name) nation title.
