Vanilla Changes

Overview

This page is all about changes to the core vanilla Minecraft functions that are present on MCAtlas.

Loot Tables

• Beetroots are dropped by Zombies from time to time.
• Slime balls are also dropped by Zombies.
• Killing a turtle rarely drops a heart of the sea.
• Spiders can drop cobwebs when killed.
• Prismarine shards and crystals drop from gravel underwater.
• Endermen drop phantom membrane.
• Ink sacs drop more frequently from squids.
• Ghast tears drop more frequently from ghasts.
• Pigmen drop blaze rods.
• A baby pig (from breeding) will rarely spawn with a saddle already on.
• Shearing a sheep will sometimes grant you string
• Bees spawn in the nether and they're angered towards you
• Bee hives spawn on Bastions
• Panda spawn eggs can be found on Bastions

Miscellaneous

• If you find yourself dying a lot, your death messages won't display in chat as often.
• Mob spawns are slightly lower in comparison to the vanilla mob spawns as to reduce server-side lag.
• Donkeys, mules, and llamas are disabled due to a dupe exploit.
• Beds do not explode when placing them in the nether.
• You can find some overworld stuff on the lower levels of the nether, The stuff varies between each biome

Lilypads

Lilypads can be obtained with sugarcane and vines. Simply drop a stack of each together into water, and a lilypad will soon grow!
