Locking Blocks
Block-locking allows members to lock blocks such as chests, furnaces, doors, and trapdoors. A block can be locked by right-clicking (do not shift-click) on the block that you want locked with a sign in your hand. If the sign doesn't automatically have text on it then said block isn't able to be locked.
Block locking will only work in claimed land!
Now that you have locked the block, you are the only one who can use it. To allow others to interact with the block, right-click the sign on the block you would like to share. This should give you a message saying "Sign Selected". From this point, type the command /lock (line on sign) (player name) [Example: /lock 3 dukesmart]. This will now allow the added player to access the protected block.
- Town mayors can destroy locks within their town.
- Allow an entire town access a locked block by adding the town name
- There is a maximum of 4 lines on a sign.
- Locks can only be placed within a town. If you're in the wilderness, your items are unprotected!
- Right-click (do not shift-click) on the same block, in a different part of the block, with another sign to add more users using the same method as covered in the previous section (this can be done multiple times).
Staff members are not responsible for any lost items. Please protect your chests whenever possible!
