Installer releases were uploading successfully but their change-log announcements failed afterward. The v3.5-Pre-Alpha publication traceback shows that a missing Documentation: line in the merged PR description raised ValueError before Discussion creation.
Make documentation metadata non-blocking: retain explicit published-page mappings, accept canonical documentation links elsewhere in older PR descriptions, and warn without adding a docs link when none is available. Preserve EXE links, commit diffs, PR-label synchronization, and announcement retry handling. Document how to recover older failed publication runs.
Validation: all 24 release automation tests pass, including a regression covering upload → publication → announcement → label copying without docs metadata; actionlint v1.7.7 passes for all workflows; git diff --check passes. A read-only preview using the actual v3.5-Pre-Alpha release, merged PR, and changed files succeeds without PR links. No live announcement was posted during testing.
