New

Colours
The new gear beside the ? opens the settings. There you can pick the colours of every window and the overlay: Bedrock's own, a set for protanopia, deuteranopia or tritanopia, or your own. The three sets are made so that their colours stay easy to tell apart with that kind of colour blindness. Each colour has sliders for hue, saturation and lightness, and takes a hex code. The preview shows the main window and the overlay, and how they look with each kind of colour blindness.

Overlay opacity
The overlay's opacity can now be set, from 40 to 100 %. Its text size and its size are in the settings too.

Component names
A second box in the Blueprints window, "Show class and grade in component names", puts each ship component's class, size and grade before its name in the game (Mil/1/D Tundra), and each missile's and torpedo's tracking signal and size before its own ([CS1] Spark Missile), the way StarStrings names them.

Changed

Overlay text size
In the overlay, Ctrl+plus and Ctrl+minus now change only the text size, not the whole overlay. Ctrl+0 sets it back.

Golem
The Golem's head can be swapped now: pick it on the ship card, like the Prospector's. Bedrock uses the head the Golem's HUD shows.

MOLE
The MOLE's turrets only take size 2 heads, so only those are listed and suggested. A size 1 head saved on a MOLE is taken off; pick another one for that turret.

Thank you! More and more of you are using Bedrock: in mid-September, about 50 of you used it in a week, last week it was more than 100. Thank you for every bug report, screenshot and idea, and to everyone who shares refinery workloads.

Thanks to andydsm for the screenshots from the MOLE turrets!

Improved

MOLE turrets
Rocks under 1 SCU now show in SCU as well. The turret writes their size in thousandths ("364.01m SCU"), and Bedrock reads that now.

What's in a rock
The list of what's in a rock shows up more reliably. Over a bright background it sometimes didn't show at all.

Changed

Install number
Bedrock now makes a random number for your install and sends it when it checks for updates and when it shares refinery workloads. Bedrock's statistics count installs by this number instead of by IP address. It says nothing about you or your PC. An install that sends a lot of refinery readings that can't be right is held back from sharing for ten minutes. To leave the number out, close Bedrock and set stats=0 in region_config.txt (in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Bedrock).

Thanks to andydsm for the feedback on the overlay and the MOLE turrets!

New

Refinery workloads
Since 4.10.2, a busy refinery charges extra for new work orders, and only the refinery terminal shows how busy it is. Bedrock now reads this when you use a terminal and shows it next to the station in the Refinery window. With "Share refinery workloads" ticked, Bedrock sends these readings, and the cost, time and yield of the work orders you set up, to Bedrock's server, and shows the workloads other players have seen. That way you can check a station before you fly there. Nothing about you is sent. Sharing is on by default; you can untick it in the Refinery window.

Resizable overlay
Drag the bottom-right corner of the overlay to make it bigger or smaller.

Improved

Overlay
On Windows, clicks on the overlay now go through to the game, so it no longer takes the game out of focus. To use its buttons, move it or resize it, Alt-Tab to Bedrock first. The overlay is also a bit narrower.

MOLE turrets
In the MOLE's turrets, what's in the rock now shows in SCU instead of per cent. Rocks under 1 SCU still show per cent.

Blueprints
Updated for Star Citizen 4.10.2: the F55 "Shadowflux", the Monolith armor, two new Wikelo contracts, and four renamed blueprints, among them DayBreak and Goliath. Pressurized Ice now shows where to mine it (it's refined from ice), and its quality snaps to steps like the other materials.

Fixed

  • Refinery jobs to UEX: with several work orders set up one after another, one of them could go missing.
  • Work orders for construction salvage are now read at the refinery terminal.

Changed

Bedrock no longer reports prices to UEX: reading them off the terminal wasn't reliable enough. Refinery jobs still go to your UEX account if you've turned that on.
