Audio storage
- Review exact files and disk usage before discarding or permanently deleting audio.
- Physically moved files remain restorable for 30 days. Expired trash is deleted while the core is running and the queue is idle, with checks at startup and hourly. Existing trash gets at least 30 days from first activation of this lifecycle.
- Imported originals stay unchanged by default. Moving imported files, or deleting older imports whose records were only hidden, requires a separate explicit option and confirmation.
- Permanent deletion frees disk space and cannot be undone through Sonariel. References, favorites, selected versions, shared files and sources with dependencies remain protected; changed files and unsafe paths are refused.
- Keep audit/lineage metadata after deletion and recover journals from interrupted cross-volume moves. No recursive directory deletion.
Optional Medium FP32 profile
- Prepare or link the optional
fidelityprofile for Stable Audio 3 Medium text-to-audio only: FP32 DiT, SAME-L FP32 decoder and the existing T5Gemma FP16 encoder. - The additional 7.60 GB of pinned models are downloaded separately from the app, after authorization and applicable model-license acceptance. Correct existing files are verified and reused;
compactremains the default. - Use
quality_profile="fidelity"through MCP. Presets and generation receipts preserve the profile and checkpoint hashes. CPU admission requires 12 GiB available RAM, with a 2.5 GiB available-memory floor and 14.5 GiB child-process RSS ceiling during generation. These limits do not guarantee successful inference or better music. - Audio-to-audio remains available through the compact profile; fidelity source-audio generation is explicitly rejected.
Windows installer
Sonariel icons, dark sidebar/header artwork, ivory surfaces and amber details now brand installation and uninstallation. Native titlebar/controls and Tauri's stock install/update logic remain in place.
Validation and limits
See the release review for checks and their boundaries. No new music inference or fresh-machine optional-model download was performed in this final review. Existing Windows upgrade-lifecycle caveats remain documented. The app remains without Windows Authenticode publisher signing; updater artifacts have a separate version-bound cryptographic signature. No production audio cleanup is part of installing this release, other than the documented trash-expiry lifecycle after its grace period.
