Runtime and updater maintenance
- Check the installed core version before opening desktop operations, and reject an incompatible shared core before connecting desktop or MCP clients. Mixed installations now produce a diagnostic instead of silently using an older core.
- Verify the actual bundled core identity during build and after installation. The Windows installer checks that core/Python runtime files can be replaced and refuses busy or inaccessible files without terminating other applications.
- Direct updates to the directory of the running Sonariel installation, including paths containing spaces or Unicode.
- Preserve the branded installer, existing MCP tools, projects, presets, audio and optional Medium FP32 / SAME-L profiles. No engine reinstallation or automatic model download is part of this maintenance update.
Before updating, finish pending work and close Sonariel MCP connections in connected agents. If the installer reports busy files, close those connections and retry; do not treat an interrupted installation as successful.
The complete clean-install/installer-upgrade/quiet-update lifecycle was not tested for this release. Build, automated regression and isolated runtime checks are documented in the validation report. These guards do not provide transactional rollback. Windows Authenticode publisher signing remains unavailable; updater packages use the existing separate cryptographic signature.

Verifica versões incompatíveis antes da conexão, protege a substituição de arquivos ocupados e direciona a atualização à instalação que está aberta. Mantém modelos, áudios, presets e funcionalidades existentes. Encerre trabalhos e conexões MCP antes de atualizar. O ciclo completo do instalador/atualizador permanece NÃO TESTADO nesta manutenção; não há promessa de rollback automático.
