• Codex after a permission change. In a new Codex chat, switching the mode (for example to Full access) before the first message made every send fail with no rollout found for thread id …. MemoSync now starts a fresh Codex thread in that case; the old one had never run a turn, so nothing is lost. Chats stuck this way recover on their next message.
• Agents no longer claim they can't read files. In Ask mode, Codex sometimes answered that it had no permission to read local files. The instructions MemoSync sends now say plainly that the agent's own shell and file tools stay available under its sandbox and approval settings.
• A failed send is shown once. The error appears under the message box only, and an older page error is cleared.
• No stale clock beside the mode. After switching modes while a session was running, a clock stayed beside a mode that was already in effect. It now shows only while a change is still waiting or has failed.

Install

Download the DMG and drag MemoSync to Applications. This release is for Apple silicon Macs only. On an Intel Mac, run MemoSync from source.

The app includes its own runtime but no agents. Install the agent CLIs you want to use, then pick an account or API connection in Settings → Models.

The app is ad-hoc signed and not notarized by Apple yet, so macOS blocks it the first time. Try to open it, then go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and choose Open Anyway. The app does not update itself yet; download new versions from this page.

• Native slash commands. Type / in the message box for the agent's own commands and skills.
• Mode menu. Choose how much the agent may do without asking, or use Plan Mode, where it proposes a plan and waits for you. Permission prompts now come from each agent itself. Ultracode is available on Claude models that support it.
• Files from the agent. Files the agent asks you to open appear in the MemoSync workbench.
• Memory stages. Empty review stages are skipped, and background analysis survives a restart.
• Fixes for context delivery across Codex, Pi and OpenCode, gateway cache usage reporting, menu scrolling inside dialogs, and new chats opened in several windows at once.
