Goby 0.4.1

• 354 KB, down from 532 KB: a third smaller, with the voices as fast as before.
• Runs on a clean Windows 10 or 11 without the Visual C++ runtime installed. 0.4.0 needed it, and most PCs with games have it, which is why it went unnoticed.
• Language switch under Settings > General: Automatic, English or Русский. All texts now live in one file per language; see docs/translating.md to add yours.
• A saved voice's tile, the "Save as my voice" button and the header no longer overlap on narrow windows.
• The website runs the app's real window, built from the same code: https://goby.azer.one

Goby 0.4.0

• Other programs keep your microphone. Goby used to take it exclusively, so voice typing and calls outside the game went silent; Low latency under Settings > Advanced still does that, now only if you turn it on.
• Switching voices no longer clicks, and very high pitches (Minion with the pitch near the top) no longer break up.
• The Programs page shows each program's own icon and what it really records from right now. A program with its own microphone setting, like Telegram, is told to set it to Default.
• Pages rise into place the way Windows 11 apps do, and saved voices show their name and what was changed on two lines.
• Unplug and replug your microphone and Goby goes back to it.
• Settings > About shows the commit a copy was built from.
• Lighter: 28 ms from mouth to game in the default mode (31 before), and the pitch voices use 3 to 5 times less CPU.

• Keeps running in the tray when the window is closed, and can start with Windows (off until you turn it on).
• Hotkeys that work in a game: Ctrl+Alt+G switches the effect, Ctrl+Alt+Page Up / Page Down step through the voices.
• A layout like other Windows 11 apps: the voice in front, with pages for Programs and Settings.
• Favorites, and voices of your own: tune one and save it as it is.
• The Programs page shows which program hears Goby right now and adds a program with one click.
• Without VB-Cable, Goby walks through installing it and picks it up without a restart.
• Updates itself from signed releases on GitHub or got.az. 0.2.0 has no updater, so this one update is by hand.
