StandBy Android preview 3

This update focuses on a cleaner, more Apple StandBy-inspired bedside experience, with responsive clock layouts, photo display, and persistent photo access. It also improves the charging screen saver presentation.

Install and enable charging mode

1. Download StandBy-v1.0.0-preview.3-debug.apk below and install it on an Android phone (Android 8.0 / API 26 or later).
2. Open StandBy, then choose Settings > Set up charging screen.
3. Select StandBy in Android's screen saver settings and choose While charging. Menu labels vary by phone. Android starts screen savers while idle, so it may not appear immediately after connecting power.

This is a debug-signed preview for testing, not a production or Google Play release. Android may ask to allow your browser or file manager to install unknown apps. A build signed with a different key cannot update this installation in place.

This build adds Android screen saver support for a charging bedside display and refreshes the interface with responsive portrait and landscape layouts.

Install and enable charging mode

1. Download StandBy-v1.0.0-preview.2-debug.apk below and install it on an Android phone (Android 8.0 / API 26 or later).
2. Open StandBy, then choose Settings > Set up charging screen.
3. Select StandBy in Android's screen saver settings and choose While charging. Menu labels and availability vary by manufacturer. Android starts screen savers while idle, so it may not appear as soon as the charger is connected.

This APK is debug-signed for preview testing, not a production or Google Play release. Android may require allowing your browser or file manager to install unknown apps. APKs signed with a different key cannot update this installation in place.

This is the first installable preview build of StandBy for Android. Download StandBy-v1.0.0-preview.1-debug.apk below and open it on an Android phone to install. Android may ask you to allow your browser or file manager to install unknown apps.

This APK is debug-signed and intended for testing, not a production or Google Play release. Keep this signing key's continuity in mind: a future APK signed with another key cannot update this installation in place; uninstall this preview first if Android rejects the update.
