@SavaStone SavaStone released this 07 Nov 15:57

First public release of dsh-provider-limits — a DSH plugin that shows how much of your AI provider's limit is left, right in the app.

What it does

  • A Limits button in the sidebar footer (above the account row) and the same readout in the settings panel header and on Settings → General.
  • OpenRouter: credit balance as one sentence, e.g. OpenRouter credits are $10.
  • OpenCode Go: the three quota windows (5 hours, Weekly, Monthly) with a coloured bar, the percentage left and a reset countdown.
  • Colour that warns: green, amber at ≤35% left, red at ≤15% left.
  • Automatic provider detection follows the chat you are looking at; unsupported providers get a one-click Creator-mode request instead of another provider's numbers.
  • Two app-wide settings in Settings → General: Limit display (Bars / Percent) and Percentage shown (Remaining / Used).
  • Up to date by itself: 30-second poll, refresh on click and on window focus; one shared upstream read per 20 seconds.
  • Privacy by construction: the API key stays in the DSH host process; the browser only receives numbers.

Install

From a checkout (recommended — update with git pull):

git clone https://github.com/SavaStone/dsh-provider-limits
dsh plugin --profile <profile> add ./dsh-provider-limits

Or from the .tgz attached to this release:

dsh plugin --profile <profile> add ./dsh-provider-limits-0.4.0.tgz

Restart DSH after installing. Set OPENROUTER_API_KEY and/or OPENCODE_GO_API_KEY in the DSH credential store or the environment.
