First Final release

CodexVault 1.0 is the first Final release, bringing together the verified capabilities from all four Beta releases.

  • Local verified ZIP backups and selective restore without overwriting existing files
  • Complete Codex backups, optional schedules while CodexVault is open, project discovery, archive tools, and local storage overview
  • ChatGPT export backup sources, optional password protection, reusable profiles, and destination checks
  • English and German interface, AI help that never sends app data automatically, four themes, and GitHub and Discord links
  • Portable macOS/Xcode build workflow and separated Dev, Beta, and Final local data

Downloads

The DMG contains CodexVault.app and an Applications link. The ZIP contains the same Final app. The attached privacy report includes SHA-256 checksums for both artifacts.

Gatekeeper

This Final is ad-hoc signed and not notarized. If macOS blocks the first launch, use the app-specific Gatekeeper steps in the README; do not disable Gatekeeper globally.
