Privacy
CodexVault remains local-only. Fresh installations do not display prior user paths or backup configuration. Project suggestions run only after you choose a folder. ChatGPT exports are included only after you select them. Backup passwords are never stored. Automatic complete backups run only while CodexVault is open and wait for the separate Codex desktop app to close.

First public Beta of CodexVault. The release includes both a ZIP and a DMG. The DMG contains an Applications link so you can drag the app into Applications.\n\nThis Beta is ad-hoc signed and not notarized. Please follow the Gatekeeper guidance in the README if macOS blocks the first launch.\n\nThe attached privacy report contains SHA-256 checksums for both artifacts.
